Technology Investment at the Istanbul Factory

Technology Investment at the Istanbul Factory

A machinery company founded in 1985 has two options: keep building what it built in 1985, or keep re-equipping. Alpy Chocolate Machine chose the second, and the choice shows in its current product line.

The clearest example is servo control. Alpy’s moulding lines now run on full servo architectures — up to 31 servo motors on the Chocolate Shell Moulding Line — governed by the company’s proprietary ALPY Cam Profile Depositing Program, which controls deposit accuracy at every station. The patented Rotary Depositor Drop Chocolate Line manages real chocolate and compound at different viscosities through integrated P.I.D. control. None of that is 1985 technology.

The investment continues at the company’s 4,500 m² production facility in Istanbul, where machining, fabrication, assembly, and testing all happen under one roof. Second-generation engineers Aytac Alptekin and Aykut Alptekin run the company on a simple production philosophy: quality, reliability, and performance a customer can measure.

For buyers, the practical consequence is machinery that competes on specification with established European builders, designed and supported by a manufacturer that controls its own production end to end.
